SAD protests against Haryana government outside State Assembly
Hours after the no-confidence motion against the Haryana government led by Manohar Lal Khattar was defeated, Shiromani Akali Dal MLAs including Bikram Singh Majithia on Wednesday protested outside the state assembly.
Bikram Singh Majithia demanded action against the torture done on activist Nodeep Kaur. We are with farmers and those who will work against them," Majithia said.

Even as the Shiromani Akali Dal legislators raised slogans 'Take Back Farm Laws'. "Farmers know what's good for them. Don't think that farmers are fools," said Majithia while opposing the Haryana government.
Meanwhile, Manohar Lal Khattar said "If the law (for MSP) is made, Govt will have to invest Rs 17 lakh cr for procurement, which is Rs 1.5 lakh cr at present. GoI's total budget is about Rs 27-28 lakh cr. Everything will be shut and Rs 17 lakh cr will be spent only for procurement if MSP enacted."

After a no-confidence motion against the Haryana government was defeated, the Leader of Opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, said that "Govt was exposed. I'd said they'll get a majority as they'd issued whip. I'd urged Speaker for secret voting but it didn't happen."
"Had there been secret voting results would've been different. Still, our numbers rose from 30 to 32," Hooda said.
"They couldn't give us satisfactory answers. Govt has already lost in democracy. We'll keep raising people's voices and fight for them. We aren't leading anyone but we want the Govt to talk to farmers soon and find a solution. The agitation has continued for a long time," he added.
