Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Voting begins; Sitharaman, Chidambaram, Rajinikanth cast their vote The second phase of polling started on Thursday morning. Prominent political leaders came out and exercised their Right to Vote in the first phase of the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections 2019. Former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth, BJP candidate from Bengaluru South Tejasvi Surya, and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have cast their votes for constituting the 17th Lok Sabha.
