Coronavirus update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,37,999 after 562 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Monday evening.

According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department giving coronavirus update, the death toll in the state due to COVID-19 has increased to 4,338 with 21 new deaths.

Among new deaths, Amritsar reported 2 new deaths, Bathinda reported 2, Hoshiarpur 3, Jalandhar 2, Kapurtala 2, Ludhiana 2, SAS Nagar 2, Muktsar 1, Patiala 2, Sangrur 1, and Tarn Taran 2.

The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has increased to 1,28,727 after 510 new recoveries were reported from the state.

Of new discharges, Ludhiana reported 38, Jalandhar 57, Patiala 39, SAS Nagar 96, Amritsar 11, Gurdaspur 18, Bathinda 104, Hoshiarpur 25, Pathankot 3, Sangrur 6, Kapurthala 10, Faridkot 27, Muktsar 18, Fazilka 32, Ropar 5, Fatehgarh Sahib 4, Barnala 10, SBS Nagar 4, and Mansa 3.

Of new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 96, Jalandhar 77, Patiala 41, SAS Nagar 89, Amritsar 11, Gurdaspur 16, Bathinda 40, Hoshiarpur 46, Ferozepur 4 and Pathankot 33.

Likewise, Sangrur reported 3 new cases of COVID-19 while Kapurthala 16, Faridkot 10, Muktsar 17, Fazilka 11, Moga 8, Ropar 5, FG Sahib 10, Barnala 12, Tarn Taran 6, SBS Nagar 0 and Mansa 11.
