Eight killed in car bomb attack at Iraqi checkpoint
Nearly 8 people were killed and 12 were injured in a suicide car bomb attack on a security checkpoint in western Iraq on Wednesday.
According to sources, the attacker drove the car filled with explosives into the checkpoint in Qiam District, Iran. In a bomb attack, nearly 12 people were injured and the injured people were in a critical condition.
5 Militants and 3 civilians were among 8, who were killed in the bomb attack. As far as no group has claimed the responsibility for the attack, but it is said that Islamic State militants operate in the area.
