The victim was identified as Bhavkiran Dhesi.

Kiran left her home on Tuesday at 9pm to meet her friends. Three hours later, about 12:20 AM the body was found in a burnt out SUV which belonged to her family.

Integrated Homicide investigation Team (IHIT) said evidence suggests, she was murdered in a different location and the body and the car were burnt away to hide another crime committed.
