Indefinite National Chakka Jam by All India Motor Transport Congress from July 20

All India Motor Transport Congress is holding an indefinite National Chakka Jam from July 20, 2018 against the oppressive policies of government, it said here on Wednesday.

'The time has come to stand up against the repressive and retrogrande policies of the government which are trampling the transport sector', it added.

They have put forward the following demands-

1. reduction in diesel prices, uniform pricing nationally and quarterly revision

2. toll barrier free India

3.  Transparency of TDS, rationalization of presumitive income in SEC 44AE of IT act and E-way bill operational issues.

4. national permit for buses and tourist vehicles

5. abolition of direct port delivery (DPD) scheme, streamlining of port congestion
