Takht Sri Patna Sahib receives bomb threat, email says rdx planted in langar hall ; security beefed up

PTC News Desk: Authorities at Takht Sri Patna Sahib have received a bomb threat via email, threatening to blow up shrine's langar hall. A bomb disposal squad has been rushed to the site.
The email said '4 RDX have been placed in the Guru Langar room. Immediately evacuate the VVIPs and staff before the explosion.' The message quickly triggered panic among the authorities, prompting them to swiftly swing into action and initiate evacuation.
Soon after receiving the message, the Gurudwara Management Committee informed Patna SSP Kartikeya Sharma. The police officials, along with bomb disposal squad started a rigorous search operation.
Besides the langar hall, entire premises was thorougly searched, however no explosive material were found, suggesting the message was hoax. The security has been significantly beefed up.
Also, the cyber crime wing of the Patna Police is actively trying to reach the origin of the threat mail.
In this regard, DSP-2 Dr. Gaurav Kumar said that a mail was sent to the Managing Committee, Takhtshri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib, in which it was said that there were four RDX near the langar. This mail has been given to the cyber cell for investigation.
