PTC News Desk: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Sunday intensified his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of engaging in “drama” to win votes and failing to deliver on promises once elections are over.

Speaking at an election rally in Begusarai, Bihar, Rahul Gandhi alleged that PM Modi listens to people only before elections and “disappears” afterward.

“Modi ji comes, gives speeches, and makes big promises saying he will do whatever you ask — but only until voting day. After the elections, he neither visits Bihar nor listens to you. He simply vanishes. I say, whatever work you want done, get it done now,” Gandhi said.

“The Prime Minister can do anything for votes — tell him to do yoga, and he’ll perform a few asanas. But once the polls are over, it’s Adani and Ambani who do all the singing and dancing. The entire act is just for show,” he added.

Referring to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks about stopping an India-Pakistan conflict, Gandhi said, “The Prime Minister who boasts of having a 56-inch chest is scared of Trump. When Trump told him to stop Operation Sindoor, he complied within two days. The truth is, he fears Trump and is controlled by Adani and Ambani.”

The Congress leader further alleged that the Modi government’s key policies — such as GST and demonetisation — were designed to hurt small businesses while benefiting large corporations. He also claimed that PM Modi was distracting the youth by urging them to watch reels so they wouldn’t question the government on pressing issues like unemployment.

Promising to strengthen Bihar’s education system, Rahul Gandhi announced that a world-class university, modeled after Nalanda University, would be established if the INDIA bloc came to power.

“Our Mahagathbandhan government will ensure top-quality education in Bihar,” he said. “I personally guarantee that once the INDIA bloc forms the government at the Centre, we will set up a university comparable to Nalanda University — one that attracts students from all over the world.”
