PTC Web Desk: The Aam Adami Party (AAP)-led Punjab Government has landed in trouble by appointing Kamikkar Singh Dhaddi, a party leader from Kiratpur Sahib, as chairman of the Anandpur Sahib Market Committee. Dhaddi is arrested in an abetment to suicide case.

On Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released the list of new chairmen of different market committees in the state and extended them greetings.

Lashing out at the Punjab Government, Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira  expressed shock over the appointment of "tainted" leader Kamikkar Singh Dhaddi as chairman of the Anandpur Sahib Market Committee.

Notably, the Kiratpur Sahib police had booked Dhaddi and two others for abetment to suicide on April 27  after the body of a local youth was found in the Bhakra canal.

As per sources, he is currently in jail.

Deepak Tandon had been missing since April 21. He had sent a message to some of his acquaintances through WhatsApp alleging that Koki Lala, Kamikkar Singh and Sarabjit Bhatoli would be responsible for his death.
