School bus hits a divider at Rajnigandha Chowk in Noida; 16 students injured

Sixteen children and driver were injured after their school bus hits a pillar at an underpass on Saturday morning. The incident took place at Rajnigandha Underpass, sector 16, at 8 am. The school bus of Apeejay School hit one of the pillars.

More than 30 children along with bus driver and conductor were travelling on a bus. Manoj Pant, station house officer, told the media sources that as soon as they received information that a school bus met with an accident, they dispatched a team to spot.

The passerby told the media that the vehicle skidded off because of sand and construction material. It caused the driver to lose control. Sixteen children and a bus driver suffered injuries. They all were rushed to Kailash Hospital in Sector 27. The driver of the bus was in a critical state.
