Six Killed In Train Accident In Denmark

Six people were killed in a train accident on Wednesday in Denmark. The accident took place on Great Belt Bridge that connects two islands in Denmark around 7:30 am. The roof of the cargo train blew off in heavy winds and hit the passenger train coming from the opposite direction.

There were nearly 131 passengers on board and three crew on board. According to the media sources, the passengers heard a loud crash sound and then suddenly windows crashed onto their heads. The passengers then flew down to the floor to save themselves.

Road and rail traffic on the bridge was closed for several hours following the accident. After some time, the traffic on road resumed, but train traffic remained shut.
