PTC News Desk: Badminton maestro Saina Nehwal has announced separation from her husband Parupalli Kahyap on Sunday after seven long years of marriage. She took to her social media and announced her decision in an instagram story.
"Life takes us in different directions sometimes. After much thought and consideration, Kashyap Parupalli and I have decided to part ways. We're choosing peace, growth, and healing-for ourselves and each other. I'm grateful for the memories and wish nothing but the best moving forward. Thank you for understanding and respecting our privacy during this time."

Kashyap, on the other hand, was yet to respond to the statement or announce the separation.

Saina showed flashes of brilliance when she defeated an in-form PV Sindhu in the 2019 National Championships. It was Kashyap who was guiding her at that time.
