UPSC announces its exams schedule

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday released the annual exam calendar of the revised exam dates for UPSC Civil Services, NDA, CMS, and other examinations.

The examinations for UPSC CSE or IAS Prelims 2020 would now be held on October 4 while the UPSC Mains has now been postponed till January 8, 2021. UPSC Mains was earlier scheduled for September. UPSC NDA/ NA I Exam 2020 would now be held on September 6, 2020.

For 2020, the first exam was scheduled to be held on April 19, however, the exam was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The personality tests for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019 for remaining candidates would be resumed from July 20, 2020, and likewise, all the candidates would be informed regarding the dates. The UPSC has announced that it will conduct only one exam this year for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.

UPSC has been releasing the exam calendar annually that provides all the exam schedules and their timings. This year UPSC had to defer its NDA. and NA Examination (I), Civil Services Preliminary Exam, Indian Forest Service Exam, .IE.S./I.S.S. Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces Examinations.
