US lawmakers come out in support of farmers

Several members of the US House of Representatives have voiced their support to the agitating farmers.

Bharat Bandh: Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh cautioned farmers against elements that could try to take advantage of their protest.

Republican Congressman Doug LaMalfa said he stood in solidarity with Punjabi farmers protesting for their livelihood and protection from “misguided and manipulative government regulations”. They must be allowed to protest peacefully, he demanded.
