Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Congress has nominated Amit Vij as the MLA candidate from the Pathankot constituency. Born on November 9th, 1977, Amit Vij won the 2017 assembly elections by defeating his nearest opponent, Ashvani Kumar Sharma of the BJP. He also worked with Reliance Industries Limited from 2000 to 2017 and served as a member of the government assurances committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha from 2017 to 2018.
