29-year-old Sikh officer appointed as PRO to Punjab governor
For the first time in Pakistan’s history, the provincial government on Friday appointed a Sikh as a Public Relations Officer to Punjab Governor. It is the first time that a Sikh has been given a key post in Pakistan.

The Sikh officer, Pawan Singh Arora (29), was previously working as Information Officer at Directorate General Public Relations in Nankana Sahib. He has now assumed charge as Sarwar’s PRO.
According to the media reports, Pawan Singh Arora has also worked as a radio broadcaster and a content writer.
