Hardeep Nijjar killing: The Canadian Police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the alleged murder of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, according to CBC News.

Nijjar was killed outside a Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, on June 18 last year.

The accused is Amandeep Singh (22).

Singh was already in the custody of Peel Regional Police in Ontario for unrelated firearms charges, informed the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT)

"IHIT pursued the evidence and gained sufficient information for the BC Prosecution Service to charge Amandeep Singh with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder," the police added.

According to CBC News, Singh is an Indian national who splits his time in Canada between Brampton, Ontario, Surrey, British Columbia, and Abbotsford.

Investigators have not provided any additional information about the arrest, citing ongoing investigations and court processes.
