Actor Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra arrested for 'making porn films'

Actor Shilpa Shetty's husband, businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested in connection with the case of 'making porn films'. Mumbai Police said that Kundra has been arrested "as he appears to be the key conspirator of this".

As per the police, there is "sufficient evidence" against Raj Kundra, though further investigations were in progress.

The case regarding the creation of porn films and publishing them through some apps was registered with the Mumbai Crime Branch in February this year.

Mumbai Police Commissioner stated that there was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps.

Raj Kundra has been arrested in this case on July 19 as he appeared to be the key conspirator of 'making porn films', said Mumbai Police, adding that they have sufficient pieces of evidence regarding this. However, Raj Kundra has denied any wrongdoing and even sought anticipatory bail in the case.

It may be recalled that Shilpa Shetty got married to Raj Kundra in 2009. They welcomed their first child, son Viaan Raj Kundra, in 2012 while they welcomed their second child - a daughter named Samisha via surrogacy, last year.
