Salman Khan jets off to Dubai with tight security after firing outside Mumbai home
PTC News Desk: Bollywood actor Salman Khan was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Friday. The actor was accompanied by his bodyguard, Shera, and tight security. Notably, this is Salman's first trip out of Mumbai since a shooting outside his Bandra home, the Galaxy Apartment.
Salman got out of his car at the airport, dressed casually, as he left for Dubai. The actor wore a black T-shirt with matching trousers and sunglasses. He nodded at the paparazzi outside the airport.
According to Mumbai Crime Branch officials, the individuals involved in the shooting incident outside Salman's Bandra residence 'intended just to scare him and not murder him'.
"The accused did a recce on Salman Khan's farmhouse in Panvel. They intended to scare him, not kill him. The statements of both families were recorded in Bihar. Around 7 people have been summoned from Haryana and other states for questioning, which is still ongoing," said a Mumbai Crime Branch official.
Meanwhile, sources have confirmed that the Mumbai Crime Branch will record Salman's statement as a witness in the firing case.
Firing incident outside Salman's house
Two men on a bike fired four rounds outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments home early Sunday before fleeing. The incident prompted an increase in security measures.
According to a Mumbai Police official, Salman Khan was present at his home when the firing took place.
Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the incident in a social media post hours after the shooting outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments house, saying it was only a 'trailer'.
