AICWA bans Mika Singh from the Indian Film Industry, for performing at an event in Karachi, Pakistan

All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has banned and boycott the singer Mika Singh from the Indian Film Industry, for performing at a high profile event in Karachi, Pakistan dated 8th August 2019. The event was held in Karachi said to be a close relative of former Military dictator of Pakistan Parvez Musharraf. Therefore, AICWA takes a tuff stand of immediately boycotting all his association with movie production houses and music companies and online music content providers.

Likewise, AICWA President Suresh Gupta in his statement has put an unconditional Ban on Mika Singh and to be boycotted from all the movies and music contracts with the entertainment companies. Also, AICWA said in its letter that the workers will make sure that no one in India works with Mika Singh and if anyone does they will face legal consequences in the court of law.

The letter shared by AICWA further says, when the tension between both the countries is at the peak, Mika Singh puts money above the nation. Meanwhile, AICWA has requested the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to intervene and act legally against the singer Mika Singh. The letter concludes saying it's unfortunate that singers like Mika Singh put the profession above the Nation Pride.
