Ambassador of India to Qatar inaugurates Photo Exhibition with Punjabi Association to celebrate 550th Parkash Purb [VIDEO]

550th Parkash Purb: The Ambassador of India to Qatar, Shri P. Kumaran, inaugurated a Photo Exhibition organised in partnership with the Punjabi Association of Indians in Qatar to markl the celebrations of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The photo exhibition was organised on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Indian Cultural Centre, Doha.

The exhibition was held on October 25 and 26. It witnessed a gathering of over 2500 visitors. The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent members of the Indain Community, representatives of apex Indian bodies in Qatar and by Embassy officials.

The celebrations of 550th Parkash Purb were held across the globe. From Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab, to various countries, people participated in celebrating 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Also, the Embassy of India in UAE celebrated the 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Painting exhibition, shabad-kirtan, cultural programmes by students and members of the community and seminars and speeches by eminent scholars on life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji were held at Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai.
