Battle for Chandigarh: Former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal applies for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat

After former Member of Legislative assembly (MLA) Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu and former Union Minister and MP from Ludhiana , Manish Tewari filed nomination as a Congress candidate from Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency, Former Chandigarh MP and Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal reached the Congress Bhawan in Sector 35 with his supporters and officially filed his application with the  Union Territory's Congress chief Pradeep Chabra to contest Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday.

With his nomination, a total number of five Congress candidates including Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu , Pawan Kumar Bansal, Manish tewari , Rajinder Singh Badheri and Savita Sisodia are in fray to contest Chandigarh Parliamentary seat.
