Jagmeet Singh, the leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party, took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the news of his engagement with his girlfriend, Gurkiran Kaur Sidhu.
Jagmeet Singh was in October 2017 elected as leader of Canada’s left-leaning New Democrats. He became the first non-white politician to head a major Canadian political party.
