Pending CBSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 to be held at students' schools: HRD Minister

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Thursday stated that the pending Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams 2020 for Classes 10 and 12 will be held at students' schools and not at external centers. Likewise, he announced that the results for CBSE Board Exams 2020 are likely to be declared in July end.
MHA Guidelines for conducting CBSE, ICSE, and State Board Exams 2020 are as follows:
- No Examination center in the containment zone.
- Wearing of face masks by teachers, staff, and students to be mandatory.
- Examination centers to have provisions for sanitizers and thermal screening.
- Social distancing to be followed at the examination centers.
- Boards to ensure staggered examination schedule as various boards still have to conduct the exams.
- States and UTs may arrange for special buses for the transit of students
