Meanwhile, Delhi witnessed its highest single-day spike in coronavirus cases in 35 days on Friday. It reported 256 fresh cases of the infection. The national capital has seen the number of daily new coronavirus cases inch up gradually.
On February 25, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain stated that Delhi has reported ZERO deaths for the 4th time during this month.
"Delhiites' efforts towards defeating Covid is paying off. Covid is not over yet. Wear your face mask and observe covid appropriate behaviour," he added.
