Dalit man forced to drink urine for refusing to harvest crops

A Dalit was allegedly assaulted and forced to drink urine by a group of men in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district.

The incident took place when the victim denied to harvest their crops. According to reports, the incident took taken place on April 23. The man further alleged that a group of men also tied him to a tree and pulled his moustache.

The Dalit man lodged a complaint.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ashok Kumar said, "A case has been registered and a probe is underway."
