PTC News Desk: Actor Govinda was admitted to a hospital late Tuesday night after collapsing at his residence. The incident took place at his home, where he lost consciousness, prompting his family to rush him for immediate medical care.
His lawyer and close friend, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that the actor had been feeling uneasy for some time before being taken to the emergency ward. “He was feeling disoriented. All necessary tests have been completed, and we’re now awaiting the reports and the neurologist’s opinion. He is stable now,” Bindal said while providing an update on Govinda’s condition.
Medical teams conducted a thorough evaluation, and doctors confirmed that the actor’s condition remains stable. They are awaiting neurological test results to determine the next steps in his treatment. No additional complications have been reported since his admission.
This hospitalization comes just over a year after Govinda suffered a gunshot wound to his leg in an accidental misfire while handling his licensed revolver. The incident occurred in October last year, as he was preparing to leave for a show in Kolkata early in the morning. Recounting that event after his recovery, Govinda had said, “I was leaving for a show in Kolkata around 5 a.m... it fell and went off accidentally... I was shocked and then saw blood gushing out.”
