Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda announce ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’; Udaipur ceremony on Feb 26, reception in Hyderabad

The adored pair, who their followers affectionately refer to as "Virosh," revealed that their wedding will be dubbed "The Wedding of VIROSH" in a touching homage to the moniker that fans came up with for them.
The pair thanked their fans in a heartfelt post on social media. "Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves-ou were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today -with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it -‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. The wedding celebrations are expected to start on Tuesday and culminate in the big ceremony in the royal city of Udaipur on February 26, 2026. Only close friends and family are anticipated to attend the private celebrations. But on March 4, a lavish reception is scheduled in Hyderabad, where additional visitors-ncluding those from the movie business-re probably going to partake in the festivities. The couple apparently engaged a foreign security firm to protect their privacy and make sure the celebrations stay quiet and unhindered.
The beginning of Rashmika and Vijay's romance took place on the set of the national favourite, Geetha Govindam (2018). In Dear Comrade, they reunited on screen, enhancing their relationship off-screen as well as on-screen.
In addition to celebrating their love, "The Wedding of VIROSH" honors true fans who have stood with them through thick and thin as they embark on a new chapter.
