Oscars 2026 Winners List: One Battle After Another Dominates; Priyanka Chopra Jonas Presents at the 98th Academy Awards

PTC News Desk: The 98th Academy Awards celebrated the best achievements in global cinema as filmmakers and stars gathered at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Organised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the ceremony honoured excellence across 24 categories and introduced Best Casting, the first new Oscar category in 25 years.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas Represents India at the Oscars

The ceremony held special significance for India as Priyanka Chopra Jonas appeared as a presenter for the second time at the Oscars. She presented the Best International Feature Film award alongside actor Javier Bardem.

While announcing the winner, Priyanka highlighted the power of global storytelling and how international cinema connects audiences across borders. The award was presented to the Norwegian film Sentimental Value.

One Battle After Another Emerges as the Biggest Winner

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another emerged as the biggest winner of the night, taking home six awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Casting, and Best Supporting Actor.

Other major wins included Michael B. Jordan taking home Best Actor for Sinners, while Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for Hamnet.
