PTC News Desk: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have shared joyful news with their fans, announcing that they are expecting their second child. On Sunday, the couple revealed the update on Instagram by posting a photo of their daughter Dua holding a pregnancy test kit showing a positive result.
Keeping the caption simple, they used only evil eye emojis. The post quickly went viral, with fans and well-wishers flooding the comments with congratulatory messages. Earlier, on September 8, 2024, the couple had announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl, through a heartfelt post that read, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika & Ranveer (sic).”
Deepika and Ranveer, who were in a relationship for several years, got married in Italy in 2018. They welcomed their daughter Dua in 2024 and officially revealed her name in November that year, nearly two months after her birth.
On the professional front, Ranveer is currently enjoying the success of Dhurandhar 2, which continues to perform well at the box office even a month after its release. Meanwhile, Deepika has a busy slate ahead, including King opposite Shah Rukh Khan, directed by Siddharth Anand, and another project with Allu Arjun in Atlee’s AA22xA6.
