Priyanka Chopra Jonas visits Golden Temple Amritsar; video goes viral as she performs sewa

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently in India and recently visited the sacred Golden Temple. During her visit, the actor was seen performing sewa: a selfless service that holds deep importance in Sikhism. She humbly took part in washing utensils, a common form of service at the temple, as a gesture of gratitude and devotion.

This is not her first visit to the Golden Temple. Priyanka has been there several times before and has often participated in sewa, showing her respect for the spiritual tradition.

A few days earlier, she also shared glimpses of her time in Amritsar, where she enjoyed traditional Punjabi food like Chole Bhature.

While the exact reason for her current visit to Amritsar is not known, Priyanka is preparing for her return to Indian cinema. She will soon be seen in an upcoming film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film, titled Varanasi, is already creating excitement among fans and is expected to release in theatres on April 7, 2027.
