The couple recently returned to Anantapur to continue shooting for the highly anticipated project Ranabaali, where they were greeted with a heartfelt and traditional welcome by the film’s team.
A video from the location captured a wholesome moment as Vijay and Rashmika were received with an aarti ceremony. Dressed in casual outfits, the duo appeared relaxed and cheerful, with tilaks applied before they resumed filming. The moment marked a symbolic and emotional start to their first on-screen collaboration as a married couple.
Their return to the sets comes shortly after they shared intimate glimpses of their personal life on social media, celebrating their one-month wedding anniversary. Vijay posted an unseen picture along with a reflective note, hinting at life’s defining moments and the journey that follows.
Professionally, both actors have an exciting slate ahead. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is a period action drama slated for release on September 11, 2026. The film marks a significant milestone as it brings the real-life couple together on screen after their marriage.

Vijay Deverakonda is also gearing up for another major release, Rowdy Janardhana, a gritty action thriller expected to hit theatres in December 2026.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna continues to expand her versatile portfolio. She will star alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania. The film serves as a sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which originally starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty.
In addition, to this Rashmika is expected to take on a prominent role in an upcoming project by Atlee, starring Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22xA6.
