Faridkot : Reeling under debt burden, farmer commit suicide Reeling under a debt of Rs 7 lakh, a man allegedly committed suicide by setting himself on fire at a Wandar Jattana village near Fardikot on Saturday. He is survived by his wife and son. The deceased attributed financial stress as the trigger for the suicide. Meanwhile, the police have initiated an inquiry under 174 CrPC in the matter.
