Haryana ranks 9 in Swach Bharat rating
Haryana that was placed at 10th position last year in Swach Bharat rating has bagged ninth position this year. The cities of Haryana have shown a significant improvement this year. Karnal jumped to 24th rank, Rohtak jumped to 69th and Panchkula bagged 71st rank.

The Union Minister for Urban Renewal and Housing, Hardeep Singh Puri, has rewarded Urban Local Bodies Department officers for their hard work and dedication to clean the cities of Haryana.

Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain said, “Any such campaign can be successful with the support of masses. For the first time, we had included more civic bodies, including the municipal committees. Haryana has already been rewarded for the cleanliness in the rural areas.’’
