HS Phoolka announces resignation HS Phoolka, AAP leader and Punjab’s Leader of Opposition announced his resignation from his post today. Two days ago, he had stated he would quit in case Delhi Bar Council stopped him or did not give permission to appear in 1884 anti-Sikh riots cases. Speaking further, Aam Aadmi Party leader said he would give the resignation as soon as party found a replacement.HS Phoolka announces resignation

Phoolka has already asked Kejriwal to assign this post to another deserving member of the party. He has recommended the names of Sukhpal Khaira, Kanwar Sandhu and Aman Arora for the same.
On the other hand, party chief, Arvind Kejriwal has suggested him to find any other solution, if possible.
It is to be noted that Delhi Bar Council did not allow AAP leader to appear for the 1984 victims in cases against Sajjan Kumar and other Congress leaders.
Before this resignation, Phoolka previously had given resignation in the year 2015. He wanted to concentrate on the anti-Sikh riots.
