Punjab research scholar Jastinder Kaur receives Emerging Scholar Award on National Science Day

PTC Web Desk: Punjab’s young researcher Jastinder Kaur was honoured with the prestigious “Emerging Scholar Award” on the occasion of National Science Day for her outstanding contributions to research and academic excellence.
Currently a research scholar in the Department of Computer Science at Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur, she gained recognition for her research paper titled “Digital Threats and Emotional Turmoil: The Mental Health Impact of Cyberbullying and Cyberstalking,” presented in October 2025. The paper highlights the psychological effects of cyber threats and offers valuable insights into combating cyber harassment.
The award ceremony saw participation from eminent national and international dignitaries in science, technology and academia, making the event globally significant.
Expressing gratitude, Jastinder Kaur acknowledged her research guide and university authorities for their mentorship and support, stating that this recognition motivates her to further advance research in Computer Science.
