Seven people were killed and seven others were injured after a car bomb explosion in Kabul on Wednesday morning, Afghan Interior Ministry said. The incident took place at around 7:25am at the Qasaba area of Police District 15 in Kabul city, ministry spokesperson Nasrat Rahimi said.
The victims are undergoing treatment in hospital. The blast damaged also damaged several vehicles.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes a day after two Taliban commanders and a leader of Haqqani militant group were released in exchange for two professors.
