Ludhiana's first swine flu case

Swine Flu has now knocked at the door of Ludhiana City. A 76-year-old woman has been tested positive with Swine Flu (H1N1 influenza) on Tuesday in Ludhiana. It is a fresh case of 2019 that been reported so far.

The woman hailing from Durgi colony has been admitted to DMC hospital. She is currently undergoing treatment.

According to the PTC News, 4 cases of swine flu have been reported so far in this winter season. Out of 4, two of the patients have died.

On January 8, a 50-year-old woman of Jandoli village in Rajpura died because of Swine flu. The woman was identified as Balwinder Kaur. She was undergoing treatment in Government Medical College and Hospital, sector 32. Her condition was serious and was put on a ventilator.
