We all know that future of cars is electric. Today, Mercedes-Benz is letting us have a closer look to the future with its brand new Mercedes-Benz EQC SUV. It is the first major foray in to the world of full-electric cars.

With EQC, Mercedes finds a home in the nomenclature of Benz's first full-production EV. It is an SUV that offers all-wheel drive by a pair of electric motors; one motor is at the front and the other one is at the rear.

Both the motors have different purposes. The front motor is optimized for the best possible efficiency and enables greater range and the rear motor gives sportiness. The result of these motors is healthy numbers: 402 horsepower and 564 pound-feet of torque.

EXTERIOR:

The exterior designer of Mercedes-Benz EQC SUV is Robert Lesnik. He said that nose-styling of Mercedes-Benz EQC SUV is "because the car needs a face."

The car has some kind of grille, without the car would have looked unnatural.

The dashboard layout of EQC SUV is similar to that of Mercedes’ other models like in S-Class, E-Class and A-Class. It has wide and sweeping series of displays that dominate the dashboard.

The vents are copper-colored which were inspired by circuit boards. It doesn’t have any traditional leather pattern; instead the materials stamped to look like modern sportswear.

If we talk about seats then, various seating options will offer a selection of natural, synthetic and recycled materials.

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is not coming to market in the US until 2020. It means it would be hitting the road after the launch of Audi E-Tron and Porsche Taycan.
