Nakodar police nabs Mizoram man with 3.7-kg heroin
In a joint operation with CIA (rural team), the Nakodar police has arrested a Mizoram resident with 3.7 kg heroin on Wednesday night. The accused has been identified as Abraham Lalrinngheta.

Nakodar police nabs Mizoram man with 3.7-kg heroin
The Senior Superintendent of Police (rural), Navjot Singh Mahal, told the media that Abraham was stopped for checking at a check post near Kang Saboo village. The police found heroin in a container in his backpack, following which the police arrested him for further investigation.

During the investigation, the accused revealed that he came in contact with a woman named Pachuau Ngat when he was working as a taxi driver in Aizawal. Together, they started smuggling heroin. He further told that he had brought this consignment from Delhi. He was to deliver this package in Jalandhar.

The police has registered a case under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
