PTC Web Desk: Multiple court complexes in Delhi, including Patiala House, Saket, Rohini and Tis Hazari, were evacuated on Tuesday morning after the authorities received an email warning of bombs planted across various judicial premises and two CRPF schools. Police teams rushed to the spot and initiated extensive searches, though no suspicious objects have been recovered so far. Officials said the threat has not yet been categorised as a hoax.

According to a senior police officer, the alert was triggered by an email sent around 9 am from the ID “jaish-e-mohammad@gmx.com". The message claimed explosives had been placed in district courts as well as two CRPF schools located in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar. The email referenced “orders of Allah’s Court” and issued a threat to destroy court complexes, including Patiala House, Rohini, Saket, and Dwarka courts.

The police said efforts are underway to trace the origin of the email and identify the sender. Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS), along with Crime Branch teams, are currently sweeping the affected buildings. “All premises are being checked thoroughly. Nothing suspicious has been found so far,” an officer confirmed.

Following the alert, the Saket Bar Association suspended court activities for nearly two hours as precautionary measures continued.

The incident comes just days after a blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10 that left 15 persons dead.
