Congress leader Sonia Gandhi admitted to Gurugram hospital for minor surgery
Earlier in March, she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after developing a high fever.
PTC News Desk: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram for some medical tests. This is the third time the 79-year-old Rajya Sabha MP has been hospitalised since January this year.
According to sources, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Medanta - The Medicity on Wednesday morning for a minor surgical procedure. She is currently undergoing medical examinations.
Earlier in March, she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after developing a high fever. Doctors later found that she was suffering from a systemic infection and treated her with antibiotics.
She remained under observation at the hospital for a few days as a precaution. Before that, Sonia Gandhi had also visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for a routine health check-up and was monitored by a chest specialist.
