According to the administration, nearly five lakh devotees are expected to gather in Nanded, Maharashtra, for the historic event. Special emphasis is being placed on arrangements for accommodation, food, transportation, and parking to ensure smooth management during the celebrations.

In preparation, authorities are surveying schools, colleges, marriage halls, and open grounds across the district to provide temporary facilities for visiting devotees. Pilgrims from several districts, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani, Jalna, Latur, Dharashiv, Hingoli, Beed, Nandurbar, Dhule, and Jalgaon, are expected to participate, the official release stated.

A review meeting held at the District Collector’s Office on Wednesday, chaired by Collector Rahul Kardile, focused on coordinating efforts across departments. Kardile directed officials to complete their assigned tasks within set deadlines to ensure the event’s success.

He also reviewed transportation arrangements for visitors arriving via trains, buses, and private vehicles. The Public Works Department (PWD) has been instructed to speed up road and drainage repair works, along with the construction of helipads, pandals, ground leveling, and temporary sanitation facilities, the release added.

The event holds immense religious and historical importance as it will be hosted at Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib, one of the five Takhts (highest seats of authority) in Sikhism, located in Nanded.
