Kurukshetra man stabbed to death in Frankfurt, family says three men attacked him
A 25-year-old man from Kurukshetra, Vishu Sharma, was allegedly stabbed to death in Frankfurt, Germany. His family is working to bring his mortal remains to India
PTC Web Desk: A 25-year-old man from Kurukshetra was allegedly stabbed to death in Frankfurt, Germany, on Tuesday, leaving his family in shock. The family said Vishu Sharma, a resident of Mahadev Mohalla, was attacked by a group of three men near his accommodation. The exact reason behind the alleged murder is not known yet.
Vishu had last spoken to his family on Monday. According to his father, Neeraj Sharma, the family became worried when they could not contact him the following day.
Neeraj, who works at a jewellery shop, said the family was informed about Vishu's condition by his roommate Gaurav on Wednesday morning. “We did not hear from him on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, Gaurav told us that Vishu had suffered injuries. Later, he switched off his phone,” Neeraj said.

According to Neeraj, Gaurav told the family that three men had called Vishu outside his room on Tuesday and allegedly attacked him with knives. He was then taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead, the family said.
Vishu had left India for Portugal in November 2022 in the hope of finding better employment opportunities. His family said they spent around Rs 20 lakh and even sold a plot of land to support his move abroad.
After spending about a year in Portugal, Vishu moved to France. There, he underwent around six months of military training and later served in the French Army for nearly a year, according to his family.
After leaving the army, he moved to Germany and started working in the delivery sector.
His father said Vishu had eventually built a team of delivery workers who worked under his supervision.
Vishu's death has left his family devastated, particularly his sister Noni, who had already sent a Rakhi to her brother ahead of Raksha Bandhan. Noni said Vishu had promised to gift her a ring on the occasion.
The family said Vishu was expected to return home around Diwali. The family is now completing the required formalities to bring his mortal remains back to India.
