‘Surya Tilak’ ceremony: On the auspicious occassion of Ram Navami which is celebrated all over India every year on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri to mark the birth of Lord Rama, the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya witnessed a remarkable event as the forehead of the Ram Lalla idol was anointed with a ray of sunlight, known as 'Surya Tilak.'
