Pakistan: A special court on Tuesday handed over a death sentence to the former president of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf in a high treason case. A three-member bench of the special court headed by Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad announced the decision on Tuesday.

Earlier, the special court during the hearing of high treason case against the former president Pervez Musharraf had said that it would announce the verdict on December 17 even if arguments of both sides will not be completed by then.
