EC revises Punjab and Delhi voter list schedule: Check new draft and final roll dates
Election Commission has extended voter list revision schedule for Punjab and Delhi. Check the revised dates for door-to-door verification, draft electoral rolls, claims, objections and final voter lists
PTC Web Desk: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has pushed back the special intensive revision (SIR) schedule for Punjab and Delhi, giving both states extra time before the final voter lists are released.
New deadlines for Punjab
Punjab's final voters list, earlier due on October 1, will now be published on October 12, an 11-day extension. Door-to-door verification by Booth Level Officers (BLOs), which began on June 25, has been extended till August 3 instead of July 24. The draft voters list, originally set for July 31, will now come out on August 13.
Claims and objections can be filed between August 13 and September 12, compared to the earlier window of July 31 to August 30. These claims and objections will be processed between August 13 and October 8.

New deadlines for Delhi
Delhi's final list has been pushed by 12 days, from October 7 to October 19. House-to-house verification, which started on June 30, will now continue till August 8 instead of July 29. The draft list, earlier scheduled for August 5, will be released on August 17. The claims and objections window has been shifted to August 17–September 16, while their disposal will take place between August 17 and October 15.
