Punjab government issues new guidelines on night curfew in the state

The Punjab Government on Monday issued new orders regarding the curfew in the state from 9 pm to 5 am. The order has been issued in the line of guidelines issued by the central government. Meanwhile, there are no restrictions on trucks moving on state and national highways.

In addition, there is no restriction on the movement of passenger buses. Likewise, there is no restriction on people coming to their destinations by buses, trains, and flights.

At the same time, the employees will not be restricted to go to their places of work. It may be recalled that earlier shopping malls, religious places, hotels, and restaurants were reopened in the state.

Last week, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh ordered a strict lockdown on the weekends and public holidays with movement to be restricted to e-passes holders.

Meanwhile, the inter-district movement will be barred except for the e-pass holders, and only shops dealing with the essential commodities. Likewise, such services will be allowed to operate on all days of the week.
