Rakhi advised PM Narendra Modi and Telengana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao to take strong action. She said, "PM Modi ji, you have done so many great works. You did surgical strike, you took control over Kashmir. Then, why can't you do this little thing?" According to her, rapists should be thrown into acid.

Earlier, Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan said in the Upper House that rapists need to be lynched in public. Celebrities from diverse fields are demanding justice for the young doctor.
