Social media's thumbs-up for India's unique Cricket World Cup jersey – must-see!
With the Cricket World Cup fast approaching, the spotlight is squarely on the Indian cricket team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma
ICC World Cup 2023: With the Cricket World Cup looming on the horizon, all eyes are focused on the leadership of Rohit Sharma and the Indian cricket team. The last time India hosted the Cricket World Cup in 2011, MS Dhoni's team etched their names in history with a remarkable triumph. It marked India's second ODI Cricket World Cup victory, following Kapil Dev's legendary win in 1983.
Now, cricket enthusiasts across India are hoping that Rohit Sharma's squad can secure a third ODI Cricket World Cup Trophy. The spotlight will undoubtedly be on players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma when the tournament kicks off on October 5. But before the action begins, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a video featuring the Indian cricket team, which many fans believe showcases the official jersey for the Cricket World Cup.

Siraj's figures of 6/21 in seven overs were instrumental in restricting the Lankan Lions to a mere 50 runs in just 15.2 overs.
Kapil Dev applauded the performance of fast bowlers in the sub-continent, saying, "I am so happy that our fast bowlers are taking all 10 wickets in the subcontinent. It's the cherry on the cake. There was a time when we relied on spinners, but not anymore. That's why the team has become so good."
The former skipper emphasised that, for now, the priority is to ensure India qualifies for the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup, scheduled to take place in their home country from October 5.
"I think it's more important to make it to the top 4 right now. We can't say we are favorites at the moment. Our team is very good, but we have to work very hard. I know about my team; I don't know about other teams. What I want more than India winning the World Cup is for them to come out and dominate. That's what we're looking for in the future. As far as I'm concerned, the Indian team is ready to play and win the World Cup," he concluded.
